Niger Prime Minister Brigi Rafini Visits Energy China

On May 8, Niger Prime Minister Brigi Rafini and the delegation visited Energy China. Wang Jianping, chairman of the Board of Energy China and Ding Yanzhang, president of Energy China met with the guests at the headquarter. Both sides conducted candid exchanges on further strengthening cooperation in power, energy and infrastructure construction in Niger.
Wang welcomed the visit of Rafini to Energy China and introduced about the overall strength of Energy China and the development and achievements for international business of China Gezhouba Group (CGGC). He mentioned that, Energy China is one of the largest comprehensive solutions providers for the power industry in China and globally, and is among “The Fortune Global 500”. Energy China conducted business in more than 100 countries and regions, covering areas of electric power, transportation, housing construction, municipality and so on. CGGC Group, one of the leading subsidiaries of Energy China, has a 30-year experience for international business and boasts rich international engineering achievements and strong market competitiveness. Africa is among the key markets targeted by Energy China. Energy China is willing to become a reliable strategic partner of the Niger government in the fields of electric power, transportation and municipal infrastructure construction. While doing a good job, it will make due contributions to the traditional friendship between the two countries and the two peoples.
Rafini thanked Energy China for a warm reception and spoke highly of its achievements in power, energy, and infrastructure construction. He commented, Energy China had a strong presence in many areas. After his visit, he became more confident of Energy China and was proud for Niger to cooperate with Energy China. He pointed out that the power shortage was a major obstacle to the economic development of Niger. He hoped that leveraging on its industrial chain, Energy China would actively participate in Niger’s power construction and economic development. He hoped that the two sides would have more cooperation in the future and wished Energy China a greater success.
