Ding Yanzhang Meets with Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev

On November 27, Ding Yanzhang, president of Energy China met with Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, during the annual gathering of leaders of China and 16 Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) in Hungary. The two sides carried out in-depth discussion about the collaboration in power and Infrastructure construction in Macedonia. Yu Gang, vice president of Energy China, also attended the meeting.
Ding congratulated Zoran Zaev on his successful election as the eighth Prime Minister of Macedonia, and highly appreciated his contributions to China-Macedonia bilateral relations. He mentioned, as one of the largest comprehensive solutions providers for the power industry in
China and globally, Energy China will make use of its strength in technology, financing and management and promote in-depth cooperation with Macedonian companies in areas like power and infrastructure construction.
Zoran Zayeff expressed that the first participation of the new Macedonian administration in the China-CEEC leaders' summit was of historical significance. The bilateral relations between China and Macedonia was on the fast lane of development, creating an opportunity to establish the all-round cooperation. He also said, the new Macedonian government attached great importance to the cooperation with Chinese enterprises. He was impressed by the meeting with Energy China and thanked for our concerns for the Macedonian market. He expressed the hope that Energy China will take this meeting as a starting point and take an active part in Macedonian Infrastructure construction such as electricity and transportation.
