Lyu Zexiang warmly welcomed the delegation led by President Liu Aimin, and introduced them CGGC’s businesses along the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, as well as the basic information of its overseas projects in such fields as industrial park, environmental protection, water conservancy and new energy. He noted that, as a pioneer practicing China’s “going global” strategy, CGGC has proactively promoted the structure adjustment, transformation & upgrading and business innovation, vigorously improved its scale and quality of electricity, traffic, environmental protection businesses, etc. and made them important basis for the leap-frog development of CGGC in line with the “Belt and Road” Initiative. Among them, the strategic market development that involves the industrial park construction is an important carrier and manifestation of China’s “Belt and Road” construction, the predominating direction for China’s national strategy and the important growth point for CGGC International’s investment and emerging businesses. This year, CGGC will quicken its pace to “go global”, further improve the ratio of non-construction business, and constantly perfect its development quality. He noted that CGGC is willing to cooperate with TEDA in integrating their advantageous resources in professional fields and work together in overseas industrial park construction and other projects to further promote the construction of the “Belt and Road”.

President Liu Aimin introduced the basic information of TEDA. He pointed out that, as a leading developer and operator of modern industrial towns, TEDA has successfully built China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone into a “production + living + ecological + vigorous” town with modern high technological level that takes industrial projects as the focus and covers such main industries as processing & manufacturing, logistics, bonded warehouse, technical R&D, trade and modern services relying on the successful experience of Tianjin TEDA. TEDA has accumulated rich experience in undertaking, construction, operation and management of overseas industrial parks. He further noted that CGGC and TEDA are highly complementary with each other in overseas business, and hoped that both parties could strengthen the business connection in the future to jointly expand overseas industrial park and other projects for win-win cooperation.
