Kuwait South AL Mutlaa Housing Project Department Holds Construction Cooperation Contract Signing Ceremony with CMC

On February 12, 2018, Kuwait South AL Mutlaa Housing Project Department held construction cooperation contract signing ceremony with CMC (“Cooperativa Muratori e Cementisti - CMC di Ravenna”) from Italy in the office camp in Area N12 of the Project Department. Both parties signed the construction cooperation contract under the witness of Liu Huailiang, Deputy General Manager of CGGC International, Liu Zhiqiang, Deputy General Manager of Gezhouba Group No. 6 Engineering Co., Ltd. and Project Manager of South AL Mutlaa Housing Project Department, CMC Regional Manager Paolo Mauri, Technical Manager Nicholos Pederzoli, Cost Control Manager Nelson Alves, etc., opening a new chapter for the smooth and due performance of the Project.

On the signing ceremony, Liu Huailiang, Deputy General Manager of CGGC International, expressed the sincere welcome to CMC, and hoped that both parties could establish sincere and firm collaboration on the Project. CMC extended the sincere gratitude to CGGC, and noted that, as CGGC’s partner, CMC will face challenges together with CGGC to ensure the smooth and due performance of the Project.

Founded in 1901, CMC is one of the leading general contractors in Italy and has been proactively expanding its business scope since it was established. CMC’s main businesses involve transportation, water conservancy and irrigation projects, construction projects, ecological environment projects, ports and maritime works, etc. Since the 1970s, CMC has proactively expanding its overseas markets, with 60% of its revenue gained from overseas projects. At present, it has projects under construction in over 25 countries and regions including China.

According to the contract, CMC will undertake some related construction tasks in four blocks of the South AL Mutlaa Housing Project. By signing the contract, CMC can give full play to its technical and construction capabilities, and both parties could further promote the implementation and performance of the South AL Mutlaa Housing Project, achieving mutual benefit and win-win result.
