Energy China Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

Meeting with the Academy
On the morning of June 12, 2018, Energy China signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in Minsk, capital city of Belarus. According to the memorandum of understanding, both parties will give full play to their respective professional advantages and carry out close cooperation in several aspects including strategic planning, joint research, natural sciences and personnel training. Both parties will also conduct cooperation in smart grids, smart communities, smart farms and smart cities. Besides, both parties will cooperate extensively in ways such as mutual exchange of scholars, exchange visits, co-publishing scientific research results and applying for national research projects.
It is understood that the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is the highest scientific research institution in Belarus. It is responsible for organizing, implementing and coordinating the basic and applied research of scientific activities of all institutions in Belarus. It is the leading institution in supporting scientific methods for information technology development in Belarus. It has a separate function in the field of science of the Belarusian state administration and has more than 16,000 senior scientists of different specialities and dozens of scientific research institutions.
