Signing Ceremony for MoU between Siemens and CGGC International (BRI Power Progress Indonesia) Held in Beijing

On June 6, CGGC International and Siemens signed the MoU for BRI Power Progress Indonesia in Beijing. Lyu Zexiang, General Manager of CGGC International, signed the agreement with Karim Amin, Global Sales President of Power and Gas Pision, Siemens under the witness of Joe Kaeser, President and CEO of Siemens, Vice Minister of National Development and Reform Commission of Indonesia, Vice Minister for Infrastructure of Ministry of National Development Planning of Indonesia, Yu Gang, Vice General Manager of CEEC, Ren Shengchun, General Manager Assistant of CEEC, Xue Danfeng, Director of International Business Pision of CEEC, Zeng Qingbo, Deputy Director of International Business Pision of CEEC, and Chen Xiaohua, Deputy General Manager of CGGC and President of CGGC International.

The successful signing of the MoU is an important embodiment of the concept of “achieving shared growth through discussion and collaboration”, and is another successful practice of CGGC in promoting the dual-wheel driven transformation of international project contracting and investment driving strategy in the context of “Belt and Road” Initiative, which indicates that the strategic cooperation between CGGC and Siemens has been further deepened, and CGGC has made a new breakthrough in the field of energy cooperation in Indonesia.

Under the context of accelerating the “Belt and Road” Initiative and International Production Capacity Cooperation, CGGC firmly adheres to the policy orientation of “going global” and the strategy of “capacity cooperation”, follows the concept of high-end entry, coordinated development and win-win cooperation, and has always devoted itself to establishing and maintaining the long-term and strategic cooperative development relationship with multinational enterprises, thus playing a model role in promoting the “Belt and Road” construction, and realize its role in promoting Policy Coordination, Facility Connectivity, Unimpeded Trade, Financial Integration and People-to-People Bond of countries along the Belt and Road. Indonesia, an important strategic partner of China and a key country along the “Belt and Road”, boasts great demands for energy infrastructure investment and construction, and is an important overseas of CGGC. The signing of this MoU is a successful practice of multilateral cooperation, which will play a positive exemplary role in deepening productivity cooperation among countries and building a community of human destiny, and lay a solid foundation for the promotion of follow-up projects.
