Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water Resources of Morocco Visits CGGC International

On June 4, Lyu Zexiang, General Manager of CGGC International and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, warmly received Abdelkader Aamara, Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water Resources of Morocco, and his delegation. Both parties reached broad consensus on strengthening practical cooperation in ports and other infrastructure fields, and achieved positive results. Aziz Mekuan, Morocco’s Ambassador to China, was also present.

During the meeting, Lyu Zexiang warmly welcomed Minister Aamara and his delegation, and detailed the international development achievements made by CGGC and the development of CGGC in Morocco market. He noted that Morocco is an important country along the “Belt and Road”, and CGGC has always attached great importance to Morocco market, extensively participated in its economic construction, earnestly implemented the important consensus reached by heads of the two countries, and actively promoted pragmatic cooperation in key planning projects in Morocco. CGGC is willing to give full play to its core expertise in investment and financing, construction and project management, and deeply participate in economic construction and investment in Morocco’s port channel, industrial park, highway, new energy, environmental protection and other fields. CGGC hopes to establish deep communication and cooperation with the Ministry to boost the economic development of Morocco.

Minister Aamara highly appreciated the outstanding achievements made by CGGC in global engineering construction, and extended the sincere gratitude to CGGC for its active involvement in the Moroccan market. He noted that the international businesses of CGGC were highly consistent with the development needs of Morocco’s economic construction. He hoped that Gezhouba Group CGGC could extensively and deeply participate in the construction and investment of Morocco’s ports, industrial parks, new energy, sewage treatment & seawater desalination, and could also provide support for Morocco’s economic development relying on its own expertise and international business development experience, so as to improve and enhance the well-being of the Moroccan people.

Before the meeting, Minister Aamara and his delegation visited CGGC’s Enterprise Culture Exhibition Hall and listened to Lyu Zexiang’s introduction to the development course, business fields and international business layout of CGGC.
