Yu Gang Visits Morocco’s Prime Minister Saadeddine Othmani

On September 3, CEEC Deputy General Manager Yu Gang visited Morocco’s Prime Minister Saadeddine Othmani who came to China to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. Both parties had in-depth exchange on deepening mutually beneficial cooperation.

Minister Othmani highly praised CEEC’s remarkable achievements made in international engineering, and hoped that CEEC could deeply participate in construction and investment projects in relevant fields in Morocco, thus making contributions to the economic and social development of Morocco, improving local people’s living standards and further strengthening the relationship between both countries.

Deputy General Manager Yu Gang warmly welcomed Minister Othmani and his delegation. He noted that CEEC is willing to extensively participate in construction and investment projects in such fields as electric power, energy and infrastructure in Morocco. He hoped that both parties could join hands to proactively promote the pragmatic cooperation on key projects.

Among the attendees were also Ministerial representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Senior Economic Advisor to Government Officials, Director of General Office of the Government, Morocco’s Ambassador to China, Jiang Dehua- Deputy General Manager of CGGC International, principals of regional headquarters in northwest Africa and Morocco Branch.
