Zhuhai National “Internet Plus” Smart Energy Demonstration Project Accepted by the NEA

On March 15th, 2019, the City-Park Dual Level“Internet Plus” Smart Energy Demonstration Project of China Southern Power Grid (CSG) in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, China, an EPC project led by GEDI, a subsidiary of Energy China, passed the acceptance check by the National Energy Administration (NEA), making itself the first demonstration project that has been accepted by the NEA among the first batch (55 projects) of “Internet Plus”Smart Energy Demonstration Projects. 

This project, launched around Zhuhai city and two industrial parks, i.e., the Zhuhai National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone in Tangjiawan and the Zhuhai Hengqin Free Trade Zone, is built by layers including physical layer, application layer and information layer. GEDI has been engaged in the EPC work of the physical layer and application layer of Tangjiawan National Hi-Tech Zone, as well as the preliminary design of the information layer.

As one of the first batch of national energy Internet demonstration projects, the construction of this project has given consideration to both the advanced nature, exemplary requirement and economic efficiency. GEDI has given full play to its advantages in the whole industrial chain service and provided the owner with one-stop integrated solution and full-process service, which reflected in supporting smart upgrading of networks through the physical layer, realizing integration of various types of energy information through the information layer, and finally implementing smart energy consumption services at the application layer. GEDI has successfully completed the construction of the project and achieved more than 10 items with initiative and pioneering position both domestically and overseas.
