Ding Yanzhang Visits Spain

During his visit, Ding attended the inaugural meeting and first session of China-Spain Enterprise Advisory Committee (hereinafter called “the Committee”) jointly promoted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and Spanish Ministries of Industry, Trade and Tourism. Ding also was present when the heads of two states meet both Chinese and Spanish representatives of the Committee. During the speech and discussion part by Chinese enterprises, Ding introduced the portfolio of Energy China, its cooperation with Spain and expectations of bilateral cooperation.
The Board of Directors of the Committee is composed of 15 enterprises from China and 17 from Spain covering finance, energy, telecommunications, automobile, transportation, trade, petrochemical industry, service trade and industrial investment. It aims to build a platform for dialogue and exchange between Chinese and Spanish business communities so as to deepen the development of bilateral economic and trade relations towards shared benefits.
On the sideline, Ding meet with delegation Naturgy Energy Group and Iberdrola Group, two Spanish power companies. He presented the business advantage of Energy China in power and infrastructural sectors and its expansion in European market, hoping to work with Naturgy and Iberdrola to develop global energy market.
Naturgy and Iberdrola both rank top 5 among Spanish power companies and are leaders in global energy area. Attendees from the two companies spoke highly of Energy China for its achievements in international projects. They would like to realize sustainable development together with Energy China.
Representatives from Department of International Affairs of Energy China, Planning&Engineering Co.,Ltd., Northwest Electric Power Design Institute attended above events.
