President of Brazilian Metodo Company Visits CGGC International

On April 29, Liu Huailiang, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CGGC International, met with the delegation led by Mr. Hugo, President of Brazilian Metodo Company at the Beijing headquarters of CGGC International. The parties had in-depth exchanges on cooperation in infrastructure construction and other fields in Brazil.

Zhang Heng, Safety Director of CGGC International, accompanied the delegation in visiting CGGC International’s corporate culture exhibition hall, and briefed them on the overall conditions of CGGC and businesses of CGGC International in South America, especially in Brazil.

During the meeting, Liu Huailiang warmly welcomed the delegation. As he noted, South America is one of CGGC International’s key areas for its international business, and CGGC International has signed contracts totaling about USD 10 billion in such fields as power, water conservancy, roads, municipal works and renewable energy. The Lorenzo Water Project in Brazil that has been put into operation is a landmark achievement of CGGC’s overseas investment by means of equity merger. Attaching great importance to the development of overseas oil & gas business, CGGC International set up a joint venture with China’s well-known oil and gas company Kerui in 2018 to fully expand the entire industrial chain business in the upper, middle and lower reaches of overseas oil & gas ground works after it made breakthrough in oil & gas market in Russia in 2017. CGGC is willing to give full play to its professional and technical advantages and cooperate closely with powerful local companies like Metodo in Brazil, one of its overseas markets, in such fields as oil & gas engineering for win-win results.

Mr. Hugo extended sincere gratitude to CGGC International for its warm reception, and highly praised the remarkable achievements made by CGGC in global engineering field. As he emphasized, there are great potentials and opportunities in the current Brazilian market, and Metodo is willing to fully leverage local resources and cooperate more closely with CGGC in such fields as construction, power, mining and petrochemical in Brazil.
