Liu Huailiang Meets with Minister of Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change of Malaysia

On June 24, Liu Huailiang, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CGGC International, met with the delegation led by Yeo Bee Yin, Minister of Ministry Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC) of Malaysia in the headquarters of CGGC International. The parties had in-depth communication on further strengthening the mutual cooperation in energy sector in Malaysia.

Liu Huailiang warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced the overall conditions of CGGC, especially the construction of Baleh Hydropower Station. He noted that Malaysia is an important strategic market for CGGC. With great importance attached to the development and expansion of Malaysian market, CGGC is willing to fully leverage its integrated whole-industry chain advantages and abilities in resource integration, proactively participate in the development and construction of projects in such fields as renewable energy, garbage power generation and environmental protection in Malaysia to benefit local people.

As noted by Minister Yeo Bee Yin, CGGC International is the first enterprise she visited during her trip and she was deeply impressed by its strong comprehensive strength. During the meeting, Minister Yeo Bee Yin introduced the current energy structure in Malaysia and the development plan for the coming five years. She hoped CGGC could keep leveraging its own advantages and join hands with the Malaysian government to jointly promote the development and construction of projects in such fields as renewable energy, garbage power generation and environmental protection, thus further strengthening the economic and trade cooperation between China and Malaysia.
