CGGC Signs EPC Contract for the New Industrial Park Project in Zacatecas, Mexico

On June 10, CGGC International signed the EPC Contract for the New Industrial Park in Zacatecas,, with the Government of the Zacatecas State, Mexico, successfully making its presence in Mexican market and further consolidating its market position in South America.

Zhou Xing, Vice General Manager of CGGC International, and Alejandro Tello Cristerna, Governor of Zacatecas State, officially signed the contract on behalf of the parties.

In his speech, Governor Alejandro noted that the New Industrial Park in Guadalupe is of far-reaching significance for the economic development of Zacatecas State. CGGC signed the feasibility study, planning and design contracts for the park in June 2018. The Government of the Zacatecas State highly recognized CGGC’s comprehensive strength in park construction, operation & maintenance, investment attraction, etc. considering its satisfactory performance of the planning and design contract. He further emphasized that the signing of this contract will set up a successful model for China-Mexico cooperation, create preferable economic and social benefits for the development of Zacatecas State, and further deepen its production capacity cooperation with China.

In his speech, Zhou Xing extended sincere gratitude to the Government of the Zacatecas State for its strong trust in CGGC and great support for CGGC’s participation in local development. He noted that CGGC will keep leveraging its strong platform advantages and resource integration capabilities to start the park construction and enhance localized operation as soon as possible, thus further boosting the development of Zacatecas State.

The development and completion of the Project is of great significance for deepening its transformation and practicing the cooperation under the “Belt and Road” Initiative.
