Lyu Zexiang Meets with the Delegation of Michael Keroulle, President & CEO of GE Steam Power

On July 23, a delegation led by Michael Keroulle, President & CEO of GE Steam Power, visited the Beijing headquarters of CGGC International. Lyu Zexiang, General Manager of CGGC International and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, warmly received the delegation. The parties had in-depth communication about the improvement of strategic cooperation in global steam power generation and co-exploration of the international market. Cai Ming, Party Secretary and Chairman of Energy China NEPC, was also present.

Lyu Zexiang warmly welcomed the delegation. He noted that CGGC is the core member enterprise of Energy China that enjoys strong advantages complementary to GE in global power, which creates broad prospects and lays solid foundation for further cooperation. Under the context of global energy conservation and emission reduction and the “Belt and Road” Initiative, CGGC is willing to give full play to its advantages in technologies, markets, investment & financing and customer base in a market- and law-oriented manner, and to further strengthen the cooperation with such transnational enterprises as GE in third-party global energy and power construction for mutual benefits and win-win results guided by the idea of achieving shared growth through discussion and collaboration.

Michael Keroulle detailed the overall status of GE steam power, and noted that GE has always proactively responded to the “Belt and Road” Initiative and has established good strategic cooperation with CGGC and other Chinese enterprises that go global. He hoped that both parties could fully leverage their advantages, make innovation in business cooperation mode, further deepen strategic mutual trust, establish closer cooperation in EPC contracting of global steam power projects, and join hands to explore the global market.

The parties also had positive discussion on practical cooperation in Vietnam and the Central and Eastern European markets.
